Sermon Reflections from November 23, 2008
You know what? You spend time studying God's Word, searching your heart, arranging ideas, then preaching what you have wrestled with and what is the overwhelming feedback related to?
And you know what? I totally get it. I love it. I can't stop thinking about green-bean casserole either. ; -)
For those of you who have know idea what I am talking about, you can listen here if you want...but apparently staring at the above picture may achieve the same end result: mouth-watering goodness.
Tim,
I'm looking forward to green bean casserole so much, I'm making a back-up dish just in case it's not being made or we need some extra. Have a green bean casserole Thanksgiving!

By the way, after listening to the sermon post. I will always connect Green Bean Casserole and fellowship.

Yeah, Tara. Apparently Deth was sitting in the back and when I asked people what came to their minds when I said "fellowship," this guy leaned over to the woman next to him and said, "green-bean casserole." Right after that I started talking about green-bean casserole. A Spirit-inspired moment if ever there was one...

What a bizarre world! Today, my gal and I were just discussing her favorite food for the soon to be famous upcoming "Meet the parents over Thanksgiving in KC" trip and low and behold, (after 20 questions) her answer: Green Bean Casserole.
There's a divine presence at work here!
