Just a quick note: our book discussion over Chaim Potok's book, The Chosen, will be this Thursday night. We will gather at 7:00 p.m. at Jacob's Well in the third floor living room. I am looking forward to our conversation. I hope to see you there.

I am so bummed I cannot be there because of school -- while you discuss the sublime work of Chaim Potok, I will be discussing a book called Heaven's Harlots by a woman who lived for years as part of the Children of God cult, participating in their Flirty Fishing expeditions to demonstrate the love of God to men...
